Our Story
X1Y1 was founded on a simple belief: most software is overcomplicated, under-engineered, or both. We saw teams drowning in technical debt, fighting their own infrastructure, and struggling to ship. We saw AI projects that worked in demos but collapsed in production.
We started X1Y1 to fix that — to bring senior-level engineering discipline to the problems that actually matter.
The name comes from a simple idea: X1Y1 — one coordinate, one point of truth. Clean interfaces. Clear boundaries. Systems that do one thing well and compose with everything else.
Our Vision
Founded by engineers, X1Y1 started as a premium consulting firm. But our vision is larger: X1Y1 is designed to be an umbrella brand — incubating products, advancing AI research, and fostering open-source innovation. The consulting practice funds the R&D. The R&D feeds back into the consulting.
